Stanley Lapidus, President, CEO and Founder

Stan is an experienced life-science entrepreneur and inventor with over 30 issued US patents. He founded and led Cytyc, EXACT Sciences and Helicos BioSciences (NASDAQ: CYTC, EXAS, HLCS), and holds academic appointments at Tufts and MIT.  Since 2002, Stan has served as a trustee of Cooper Union, his alma mater.

Stanley Letovsky, PhD, Vice-President and Chief Information Officer

Stan completed his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence at Yale and post-doctoral research at Carnegie-Mellon.  He led bioinformatics at Helicos BioSciences, Codon Devices, Millennium, Monsanto, and the Genome Database (GDB) project at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutes.  He holds an academic appointment in Bioinformatics at Boston University.

Cheryl Hamer Lou, Vice-President of Clinical Operations

Cheryl has over 20 years of experience in clinical research.   As co-founder and a VP of CareSafe, a 100+ person Contract Research Organization, she was responsible for project management, clinical site monitoring, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance.  She is a Registered Nurse and holds a BS in Chemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. 

Jeffrey Luber, Vice President and Co-Founder

Jeff is an experienced life sciences executive. He served as President and CEO of EXACT Sciences Corp. (NASDAQ: EXAS) where he led its strategic turnaround and recapitalization.  Jeff has served in executive positions in both public and private companies in healthcare and life sciences.  He completed his JD and MBA degrees at Suffolk University.

Theresa Tribble, Senior Director of Clinical Market Development

Theresa started her career at Putnam Associates, consulting to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.  She graduated from Wellesley College and holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.  She is a member of the Massachusetts Act Early Taskforce.

Patrick Anquetil, PhD, Director of Strategic and Process Planning and Co-Founder

Patrick began his career as a science and nanotechnology equity research analyst at Susquehanna International Group.  He received his PhD at MIT in Bio-Instrumentation, an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master's degree from the ETH in Zurich.

Marie Causey, PhD, Director of Research and Development

Marie is a geneticist and molecular biologist with over 15 years of experience, most recently at Helicos.  She completed her PhD in Molecular Genetics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and conducted research in the field of RNA interference as a postdoctoral associate at Harvard University.
